Terms of Use for the Chrome Extension “Manglate”

1. Introduction

Welcome to the “Manglate” Chrome Extension (“the Extension”), operated by Manglate (“we,” “us,” or “our”). These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Extension. By installing or using the Extension, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must immediately stop using the Extension.

2. Description of the Service

Manglate is a Chrome Extension designed to colorize images found on the internet. In order to operate, the Extension:

1. Requires the creation of a user account (see Section 3).
2. Sends images to a third-party server for processing (colorization).
3. Returns the colorized images to your browser.

3. Account Creation and Management

1. Registration
   You must create an account by providing accurate and up-to-date information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login details (username and password) and for all activities that occur under your account.
2. Accuracy of Information
   You agree to provide true, accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to promptly update such information if it changes.
3. Account Security
   You are responsible for any unauthorized use of your account. If you suspect any unauthorized access or breach of security, you must notify us immediately.

4. Subscription and Payment

1. Subscription Plans
   The full functionality of the Extension may require a paid subscription (“Paid Service”). Details regarding pricing, subscription duration, and payment terms will be provided at the time of subscription.
2. Payment Methods
   Payment is processed via credit card or any other method accepted by our payment provider. By subscribing, you represent that you are authorized to use the chosen payment method.
3. Renewal and Cancellation
   Unless otherwise stated, subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period. You may cancel your subscription at any time, and the cancellation will take effect at the end of the current billing cycle.

5. Refund Policy and Limitation of Liability

1. Limited Refund
   In the event of service loss or unavailability of the Extension, you will not be entitled to a refund or compensation exceeding the equivalent of one (1) month of subscription, prorated based on the duration of the unavailability.
   
   Example: If the Extension is unavailable for one week, you are entitled to one quarter (1/4) of your monthly subscription fee as compensation.
2. Disclaimer of Warranty
   We strive to provide a high-quality service but do not guarantee error-free or uninterrupted operation. Your use of the Extension is at your own risk.
3. Limitation of Liability
   To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, our total liability (including that of our directors, employees, and partners) for any claims arising out of or in connection with the Extension or these Terms is limited to the amount referenced above (one month of subscription, prorated).

6. Transmission of Images and Security

1. Third-Party Server
   The images you wish to colorize are sent to a third-party server for processing. To the best of our knowledge, this third-party does not track or store your data long-term. However, we cannot fully guarantee the absence of any logs or unintended backups.

7. Use of Personal Data

1. Collection and Use
   The personal information you provide (name, email address, etc.) is used solely for the purpose of providing and improving the Extension. We do not sell or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.
2. Third-Party Partners
   We may employ third-party service providers for payment processing, images processing, or hosting. Your personal data may be shared with these providers only to the extent necessary for them to perform their services, in compliance with applicable laws.

8. Intellectual Property

1. Ownership
   We own or are licensed to use all intellectual property rights relating to the Extension, including its code, design, logos, and trademarks. Any reproduction, distribution, or unauthorized use of these materials is strictly prohibited.
2. Respecting Third-Party Rights
   You agree not to use the Extension to infringe upon the intellectual property rights of others. If you do so, you bear sole responsibility for any consequences.

• Use the Extension for any unlawful, fraudulent, or malicious purposes, or in any manner that violates public order.
• Attempt to access, decompile, or modify the Extension’s source code.
• Circumvent, disable, or otherwise interfere with the Extension’s security features or functionality.
• Upload or transmit any content that is illegal, offensive, or infringing on the rights of third parties.

10. Term and Termination

1. Term
   These Terms remain in effect for as long as you use the Extension.
2. Termination by You
   You may stop using the Extension and delete your account at any time. Such termination does not entitle you to any refund except as specified in Section 5.
3. Termination by Us
   We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Extension if you fail to comply with these Terms, without prior notice or compensation.

11. Changes to the Terms

We may revise these Terms at any time to reflect changes to the Extension, legal requirements, or for any other legitimate reason. If we make material changes, we will notify you by appropriate means (e.g., a notification within the Extension or an email). By continuing to use the Extension after updates become effective, you agree to the revised Terms.

12. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of Eurepean Union. Any dispute arising out of or related to these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of European Union.
